Scope of Care

Effective August 12, 2026

Pawvention Wellness (operated by VELD.ATTIRE LLC, a New York limited liability company) (“Pawvention,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides preventive, non-diagnostic pet wellness care in the home. This Scope of Care explains what our team is qualified to do, what we will not do, and when a licensed veterinarian must take over, in relation to our website, services, training, and products (the “Services”), in accordance with applicable United States and New York State law.

Care at Pawvention is delivered by trained veterinary nursing assistants, who we call Wellness Agents. We are not veterinarians and we are not licensed veterinary technicians, and we do not hold ourselves out as either. What we provide is baseline preventive pet care in the home: hygiene, grooming, comfort, handling, observation and first aid readiness.

That means we don’t diagnose conditions, offer prognoses, prescribe or dispense medication, or perform surgery. We do not perform any task that New York State reserves for a licensed veterinary technician or a veterinarian. When something falls outside what we do, we say so and refer you to a veterinarian. Visit notes go to your vet after every visit, so the person who knows your animal’s history stays in the loop.

Changes to This Scope of Care:

We may update this Scope of Care from time to time and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
